CLICK HERE TO RECEIVE THE COMPLETE COLLECTION OF FALL 2018 CAREER IDEAS CHALLENGES

Next Wednesday, January 9th, will kick off a new year of Career Ideas Challenges! We will introduce more of high-demand, high-interest careers. We’ll even through in some ripped from the headlines, in the spotlight careers too. Career Ideas Challenges are delivered to your email inboxes on most Wednesdays so be on the look-out.

In the meantime, there are three things you can do to enrich career exploration experiences for your students

  1. EXPAND your middle grade career exploration collection in your Perkins budgets. You’ll find information about all five of our high-interest, interactive series below!
  2. PLAN to involve your students in this year’s Take Our Daughters and Sons to Workcelebration. April 25 is the big day and our World of Work series has been chosen as the official books of the year! Yay for Bright Futures Press–and for the students who will be inspired to find their place in the real world of work!
  3. CATCH UP with the all the Career Ideas Challenges we shared last semester. Download the compilation of 9 challenges below. This file includes student activities and teacher guides for RESCUE DIVER, ELECTRICAL LINEWORKER, VIDEO GAME DESIGNER, PHYSICIAN’S ASSISTANT, ROBOTIC ENGINEER, MARINE BIOLOGIST, CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATOR, CHEF, AND RETAIL MANAGER.

Be sure to let me know how you are using the activities and to let me know of careers you’d like to see featured in a challenge.

Warmest Wishes for Your Best Year Yet!
